What is this all about?

Our Christmas calendar has two main objectives:

1. Help people to get a better grip on Christmas

We are publishing 24 videos - one per day - that are supposed to encourage the viewers to act a little different this holiday season. We encourage a shift from the material aspect of Christmas towards the actual celebrating and the creation of some Christmas spirit. All our videos deal with this topic in one way or another.

2. Generate donations via views of our videos

Talking about less material Christmas sound good. But many people around this world need help on Christmas and beyond. We are trying to help out some local organizations in Denver and Cologne and 2 other organizations we are in direct contact with (learn more...).

This online calendar project is strictly non-profit.

 

What can you do?

Watch our videos. Every view of our videos helps us to generate advertising $$$ that we can donate.

Tell your friends and families about our calendar. It is supposed to be fun and entertaining.

Add a link to our calendar to your web site or your blog - or maybe even write about the project in your blog?

We also offer the option to sponsor any one of our videos. Your logo and a message can appear for a few seconds at the beginning of a video. Again the proceeds will be donated to good cause!

Whom do we support?

In Germany we support an organization named „Wir helfen e.V.“ (simply translated: “we help”). They help children in and around Cologne that have been in legal trouble. The goal is to stabilize the children's life in order to prevent further trouble.

 

In Denver we are supporting the Child Rescue Foundation. They are supporting children affected by domestic violence. CRF began in 1999 as a response to increasing numbers of family violence and the impact this epidemic had on our children.

 

We also support the Salus Foundation. This non-profit built a school in India and we are glad to help them out. We did so in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Their site will tell you all about them. Most important: They do take donations via PayPal and Credit Card. For us, helping them is the next best thing besides doing a project ourselves.

 

One of our movie makers is involved with a an organization named Awareness Cambodia. One of our videos will actually onclude some footage he shot down there. The organization is located in Australia and does great work with very little overhead. Another good place to send some of that Christmas bonus money and feel good about it!
